I had a few patches of hair algae too. I went to my local fish store and bought something called SAT. It is a bacteria that eats all the nutrients that the algae eats, causing the algae to die although i think it is for aquariums with a lot of it. It comes in a bottle. It works.

I just got a pygmy angel fish. Right now i have been feeding him frozen brine shrimp preperations. I heard that you are supposed to feed them angel fish preperations. Is this important? I also was looking for more information on taking care of dwarf angels. thanks
