i'm upgrading my tank soon to pre drilled(55g) i believe the more turn over the better. just looking at gph and how many over flows needed. have 2 pumps 500 gph right now (mag 5) went with 2 pumps instead of the mag 9 incase one fails i still have one circulating

have you tried this yet? have you researched fluidized bed filter to see how water is passed throught the chamber? could put to much back pressure on the pump and burn out
