I was trying to get rid of a clown....but he kept answeing my posts and then complaining to the moderator! :)

ok.... that's sounds reasonable too... how much rock would you add and when? every week?... other week? or do I test the water and go from there. Someone at a FS told me that I run the risk of the tank crashing whether I add all the rock at one time or a little bit at a time(50#) and I will get...

I'm sure that you know what you are doing....and I thank you for your comments...I did not totally dismiss what you were saying..... maybe only 95% if you have anything else positive to add.... just jump right in... As I said I can reduce the fish or eliminate them as tracklighter suggested.

they should be hardy enough to live thru it... I hope.... as I said I can remove a few... I don't think that this will effect the cycling.... my main question relates to the aquacultured rock and putting in a large quantity at one time.... but I would like to stick to those who really know what...

sorry... ecosystem mud filter has been on about 10 days.... didn't use damsels because I didn't want to chase them around the tank when the substantial rock is introduced. fish are small..... also this is a 175 gal tank....it should support 10 small fish while it cycles. I think..... I can...

Is there a guru out there who might know the best way to introduce Fla. live rock in a 175 oceanic bow front... new tank...with a ecosystem mud filter. There is culupera in the sump.... been there only 2 days... and about 10 small fish.... mostly clown that have just been put and 10 # of fiji...

could you tell me where you bought the fla rock from? Thanks
