Will the regular brown Hermit Crabs eat and take care of my hair algae blum cause by my new lights. My LFS only has the brown hermits. All readings on the water are fine. I just didn't adjust my tank to the new lights slow enough. Thanks

I was given some freshly frozen whole shrimp. I was thinking about cleaning the shrimp and making a shrimp malt by adding some R/O water and dropping them in a blender. My question is could I use this to spot feed my soft corals? I just don't want to start a cycle or something.

How do you get rid of hair algae???? I use R/O water at all times and change 25% of tank water per month. I don't over feed and clean it off when I see it but how do you stop it?
