    I need help

It would be best to wait until you see the spike in ammonia and nitrates, and they return to 0. Through in some more krill if needed. Odds are your tank hasnt cycled yet.

    Water temp crisis

Couple of questions: 1. Whats the temp of the room? 2. What kind of lights on the tank? 3. Do you have glass lids on the tank?

    Overflow antisiphon

You install it in your sump. You plug your pump into the float valve, when the water gets below the place you set (With the valve) It cuts electricty to the pump, preventing it from burning up.

AS this provides some insurance, keep in mind that float valves can and do get stuck, therefore dont...

    Check valve

I'd like all the flow in the system to stop in the event of an extended power outage when I'm not home. To me this was the most important statement. It is what all the questions are about. If you have 2 pumps one going from the tank to sump and one going from the sump to the tank, this will not...

    Check valve

I dont think there is a law, just enough room so that when power goes out, you have enough room for the water that comes back down. On my system I need 1-2 gallons room at the top for water. IMO I would recheck the siphon break, if you rely on a Check valve, eventually you will have water on...

    Fuge question

Depending on what type of macro, I wouldnt put it in my main tank. Calupera can be very hard to get out of live rock. I would cut out a portion and shake it over the sump return to the main tank.

Also if you have any delicate animals that move a lot , you need to do something to protect the intakes (Bubble Tip anemones, nudibranches, etc..)
