We all spout ro/di not tap water, but what about distilled? Someone asked me and I didn't know. Does the distilling process hurt the water for our use in reefs?

last year I was laid off from my job in august I found a maintenance job at the high school working on HVAC equipment. From the day I started till now and god knows how long they have never cleaned the reef tank. It is in the science teachers class room who is the dept. head.

Always thought coral banded shrimp picked on other shrimps and were better left alone unless a pair. SWF says in its descrip that it is peaceful to other types of shrimps. What has experience been with all of you?

Lucky me in my 125 gal fowlr tank I woke up to an outbreak of Ich. I want to cure it by lowering salinity but not sure if it is ok with lr and clean up crew. Will clean up crew or shrimps suffer. There is also one small anemone attached to a rock. Will dropping the salinity hurt anyone long term...

My question is hopefully simple. Where is your DSB located? In the sump area or in your main display area. A 4" to 6" bed seems a lot in the main display.
