What do sandsifting stars eat? I would like to get one, but am concerned that there may not be enough "stuff" in my sandbed to provide good nutrition. Would I supplement this with krill or seaweed? Thanks Brock

I am now planning on converting my CC 46 Gal tank to a DSB. I believe I will need approx 110 lbs of sand to have at least 4". How much live sand is needed, just enough to cover the surface, or do I need a deeper layer of live sand? Thanks Brock
