I have 2x96. One 10K and one actinic 03. I put the first 20 lb.s of LR in tword the end of August. (I have a 50 gal.) I didn't see much growth, but about two weeks ago I started using PurpleUp and I am seeing a quicker change now. Don't people say that you've got to wait 6 months before you see...

My cleaner shrimp doesn't clean my maroon clown, not that I've seen anyway but does clean my cromis and the two tangs that I have. I feed it flakes and it will also go after frozen brine/mysis sometimes. They molt alot. Like once a month.

Last night I noticed something. I have a turbo snail (Trochus to be exact), well just the shell, (the snails gone) in my tank. I saw one of the bumps on the snail move. Like something inside the shell broke the shell, moves the piece out of the way splits it in half and does this sweeping action...

Sound like it might be diatom algae to me. Maybe post more info such as water parameters, how long you keep the lights on, how big is your clean up crew if you have any at all... maybe even post a pic if possible. HTH

I'd still take them to the LFS. They might not give you as much $ as you paid for them but they should give you something if not store credit.
