What is the s-10 report you were refering to concernig salt mix brands? The chart I posted was from a article on Advanced Aquarist's online magazine in Sept 2004.
Enlighten me please, I don't want to be posting bad info.
Help a brother out:D

I can't remember if its called the S-10, or the S-15, or what ever . . . . anyway, it was a "study" that was done on the trace element content of the major salt brands including Bio-something-marine mix. Well, Dr. Ron Shimek took to this info like a moth to a flame, and began promoting it as the "best" salt out there. Needless to say, people began to switch to this salt.
Well, after a while and numerous reports of tank crashings after switching to this bio mix, it was revealed that the "study" was performed by the company that made the salt that was determined the best. They basically fabricated the data to sell their salt.

Shimek was referenced in the article but if I read it right they were debunking that report, although they didn't specifically name it.
Check it out and please report your thoughts.
