What could this be? They are immobile, except when disturbed by water currents. Could it be Blue Leg Hermit waste? This is the 1st time I've seen them in the tank.
I noticed them after I removed the 2 Damsels, after the Clown became ill, then died. The Yellowtail is not fairing well, he was buddies with the Clown. The Convict shows no ill effects from all of the recent commotion. I am treating them both in a new hospital tank. I fear the Yellowtail will not survive. It is lethargic, breathing heavy, and will not eat. The Convict is the same old bully he's always been, but not aggressive to the Yellowtail at this time.
Hosp. tank is 1.010 for salinity/SG, almost hypo? I think all of these problems are due to the Clown being ill when I purchased it.
