Ok, in my 29 gallon I currently have:
2 Percs
1 yellow Clown Goby
1 Royal Gramma
2 Emerald crabs
and an assortment of hermits and snails
I've got plenty of filtration and water movement. Do you guys think I could get away with one more fish, such as a Lawnmower Blenny? I'd like to have one of those little guys, but don't want to do it if it will cause any problems. All the fish I have now are small, so I was thinking maybe it'd be ok, but wanted to consult you guys first.
Thanks,
David

imo i would say go for it ...as long as you keep up on maintenance...a lawnmower will benifit most tanks.. imo

Can't say for sure, but my local LFS advised against an LMB for my 28 gallon tank. Concerned that it wouldn't find enough to eat in there, which might be exacerbated by the presence of your other fish.

Well I have 5 fish in my 29 gallon - ALL ARE VERY SMALL. I do my water changes / filter changes regularly. My only problem has been that I over feed. I am actually thinking of getting 1 more later on down the road. I am just looking for a colorful, ACTIVE fish - one that won't hide so much.
Does your Royal Gramma hide alot? I was looking at that fish, but I want an ACTIVE fish.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I will go ahead and try it. All of my fish are small, so I think it should be fine. I think there will be enough in there for him to feed on for now, but when it's necessary, I will add algae sheets.
My Royal Gramma is actually pretty active. When you first walk up to the tank, he darts behind the rocks, but if you stand there for a minute he starts getting brave enough to come back out. If you're standing back from the tank, he is usually always swimming around. The color of the fish is brilliant too.

Go for it, I have one in my 95gal and has so much personality. Mine is huge at 4.5in long, it will be fine for bioload and swim space but just the amount that their alagea eaters. I didn't have enough alagea so I left the lights on 11hrs and thats fed him. Mine didn't like alagea sheets, so I tried alagea pellets. These are pretty tough things so I just take some tank water and float the pellet in the cup till its soft and dump it in.
