Ok. So hypo is 1.009? Man I never knew it was that darn low. Ok so after hypo do you then drip from your showtank to acclimate the fish back into the higher salinity before introducing him back?
Yes, that would be a good method. Or, you can just take out some of the hypo water and replace it with new salt water that is at normal level. It is necessary to perform this process slowly. Say, over 4-5 days.
