1 year progression

My 55 has been up for a year now. Things are always changing, but heres the basics of how its changed besides the constant upgrades from fluorescent tubes to pcs to metal halides and the constant addition and rearrangement of corals. The most recent pic isn't the best, but it works I guess.

Thanks. I'm still tinkering with the idea of going back to the valley look I had in the second and third picture. That was a pain though every time I needed to move a rock for something.

Yeah, unfortunately that some some hair algae. Ive been having issues with my cheato not growing and dieing and ever since the hair algae has started to sprout on a few rocks. I just cleaned most of it off actually, but it'll be right back soon.
Flow, not enough. theres roughly 900gph in the display. Upgrades will be when I switch to a 125g tank and get to redo everything fresh and drill it.
I agree, the valley is more natural looking, but its boring to me. Everyone has the same old thing with a pile of rocks and some corals on it. On the next tank I will be going back to the valley, but there will also be a few pillars to help keep it a little different looking.

I actually never had the bubbles on except for in those pictures. Only reason they were on was because without the bubbles it looked very plain and empty seeing that much for the back wall. Hey you learn as you go though right.
