I decided to make my spare 10 gallon tank into a QT tank today. Mostly because I shouldn't have waited so long to start one, and because it just so happens I had to remove one very aggressive little damsel from my reef tank. I had a couple other type damsels too, so I took them out as well. That makes 3 damsels in my ten gallon tank, to cycle it and keep it cycled I guess. Does anyone have any special advice for me with a ten gallon tank? I know I need to carefully monitor the water conditions since the tank is so small. But I don't want to invest alot of money in it either...all I have are regular flourescent lights, and a wet/dry Millennium 2000 filter which pumps 160 gallons per hour. The only other fish that will be in the tank are the temporary ones that reside there for a few weeks before going into my reef tank (which won't be many, since it's a reef tank). Any way, I've never done this small of a tank for saltwater, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
