10 gallon reef tank.

My friend is setting up a 10 gallon reef tank he wants to keep 2 perc clowns,can he keep another fish. If so what?

I'd limit it to two ocellaris/perculas and that would be it. Great way to get into the hobby though.

It all comes down to bioload. Most reefers have a tendancy to overfeed, which adds unnecessarily to the bioload. If he's careful, he might be able to get away with a small fish like a goby/blenny, but that's a big if.
I'd say he should leave it at the two clowns. Perhaps consider a shrimp if he wants another critter in there.
