10 gallon setup advice...

I have been wanting a small tank for my desk at work for some time and have been eyeing the 6 gallon nano... Although that is a possibility, it will be cheaper to setup a 10 gallon... I already have:
10 gallon tank
hood (I can buy compacts up to 25W each)
heater
skilter/skimmer modified
need to buy:
live sand
live rock
My question is, is this a good setup and will the lighting work out for just soft corals and anemones?

I have a 10g that I set up. Here is my advice.
I love it. I think the size is great. You must keep up water replacements as they lose levels fast. Other than that, a 25w PC or more would work good for soft corals, but not anemones.
However, I have found that it is hard to get a good water flow in the 10g. The skilter will help, but either invest in a large HOB filter rated for maybe a 30g or more, or get some powerheads. My 10g has two small HOB filters and one very small PH and I am not getting the waterflow to keep my sides clear of cyano. Other than that, have fun.

cool.... I'll get a Powerhead as well....
and I already pickup a 5 gallon jug of salt and R/O every other weekend for my 40 gallon... I could just use 4 gallons of it for that and then bring the remaining 1 gallon (s) of each up here to work with the same schedule of 1 week salt, the other week R/O... this would be 10% change for each

I think that would be a great idea. The main thing is that you don't want there to be any dead or stagnant spots in the tank.
