Here are some pics of my 10 gallon that is around 3 months old. It is currently home to 2 clowns, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, 2 boxing crabs, few corals and a few snails. Please give me some suggestions and let me know what you guys think. Also, any ideas on how to remove the hair algae that is growing? Did not have any until that piece of LR in the front was purchased for the shrooms growing in it.

few more pieces of lr wouldn't hurt..but looks good tho...and take care of that hair algae before it gets out of control...u can put a snail on it see if it mows it down..or u can pick it off urself...

How do you like the boxer crabs? That is just another name for a pom pom crab or Lybia tessellata right?
I've been debating one for a little tank I keep, but I've never seen one in a tank to know how they behave. Does it hide all the time or is it fairly noticable?
Also with the hair algae I find it easiest to remove the piece to a small bowl of salt water and rub the biggest part of it off with a toothbrush and then rinse it a couple times in more saltwater. I find that my snails do a great job in general, but they don't always agree with me on which part of the rock needs cleaned first.

Yes the boxer crab is just another name for the pom pom crab. They look really cool but I only really see them at night. During the day they spend alot of time hiding out in the LR. The LFS ordered them for me and they were $10 each. I am contemplating getting a few more.
As far as the snails for hair algae, which kind work best. I have 1 huge turbo and 1 astrea but they do not seem to ever touch that piece of rick. I might try removing a scrubbing like you suggested. I wish I never got that piece with the shroom case the HA seems to be slowly spreading.
My lighting was the stock fluro for about a month, then I got 2 of the coralife aqualight minis 18 watts for about a month, and for the last few weeks I have been using a 20" Current USA Orbit 2x40 watt and I am very pleased. I would recommend this light. If you look on the web, you can get it for pretty cheap. I got it for $109 with shipping. PM me for more details.
