10 or 20 gallon tank big enough for a lobster?

What do you guys think? I want one but don't want to put it in with my inverts, but I have extra 10 and 20 gallon tanks. Would it need a protein skimmer?

Why not? I have a Purple lobster. He bothers nothing....not even other inverts. Which Lobster are you looking at?

because some others on here told me their lobsters bothered inverts, The purple is what I'm looking at. Does yours come out alot?

We also have a purple lobster and he bothers nothing at all. He is in with shrimp, crabs, snails, in our reef tank. We don't see him much though. He built his cave under a piece of rock and pretty much resides there. I am training him to leave by putting his food further and further from his hole so hopefully we can enjoy him for a couple of seconds a day.
