100 Gallon TruVu lighting question

I have a 100 gallon truvu acrylic tank that is oddly shaped at 60 inches. I have had fish only tanks for the past 6 years and now I want to convert to a reef tank. I added 150 pounds of cured rock, got a migger sump, added a refugium and upgraded my skimmer to a Red Sea Berlin Turbo and finally increased my overflow and return system to approx 1000 GPH give or take a few. I did that about 8 weeks ago and got the tank cycled. I am now wanting to add some better lights. I would like to go with PC lights because I already have a lot of them. I have 4 96 watt 36" coralifes and 4 65 watt 24 inch Coralifes that were fixtures but now I took them apart and mounted them in my canopy. I am wondering what I am limited to as far as corals with this lighting setup. I am also wondering if I could actually scale it down to just the four 96 watt lamps and keep the four 24 watt lights out of the canopy. It's a pain in the rear to have 8 power cords coming from your hood not to mention all the heat that is created.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.
