Nice picture or Nice tank or healthy looking fish or tank- This all works in the Photo section when someone asks "what do you think of my picture/tank?"

Sure beats the how many tangs or how big is your tank with that fish in it

Quality not quantity, you always seem to know what you're talking about and offer good advise! Seems like the folks that put up 1k posts in 6 months are more often then not empty cans.

jmick... gotta disagree. just means some people spend more time on saltwaterfish than others. i don't have a job(cuz ima kid), which gives me more time to be on here.

I've seen this topic come up on other boards that are similarly set up and one reason is an effort to keep people from making a ton of posts solely to get their post-count up.
Congrats COWFISHRULE on 1000, and this isn't directed toward you, but apparently racking up a huge post-count just for the sake of it is a big deal to some and it could lead to too many posts with little/nothing to add to a discussion in the subject matter that the board exists to serve, the discussion itself being lost in a sea of posts, or on non-bumping boards the threads being shoved back several pages.
