ok, i got a 10g with a nice little perc clown. he currently lives in a little plant pot that i put in there for him and he immediatly adopted the home.
but when i got him he was in a bear tank with his brothers and sisters, and now he lives in a pot. i just kinda feel bad and wanna get him his own little anemone.
thing is, it's a 10g and im not sure if i would have room for a small carpet anemone.
do they grow really fast? and would one be ok in a 10g?
it's just got a small 15g filter but i do often water changes and add phytoplankton for my tubeworms all the time.
would one be ok?

No , the water conditions don`t stay very stable in small tanks like that . Anemones need pristine water and carpets are too big for a ten gallon tank . A ten gal is way too small for any anemone IMO .

would an 18 gallon tank with a 55g filter with powerhead be good? like i said, i also do water changes pretty much daily, bout 10% or so.

Not for a carpet . I don`t think you realize how big different species of carpet anemones are and can get .

is there any anemones a percula will host that can be in a 18 gallon?
and witht he carpets, isn't it possible to frag one as it grows too large and keep it at a small size and just sell the frags? just a thought.
