10g filtration

Could anyone suggest the best method of filtration for a 10g? I've got 10 lbs. live rock, a blue damsel and o. clown. The tank has nearly recovered from disaster after months of vicious lies from the LFS
(I should have researched). Now I want to do this right. I currently have a little filter that came with the tank, the simplest, most insufficient possible. I would like to know what I need to keep it stable.
Thanks for the help!

other filters you can use are fluvals or renas or you can get those hang on back filters like aquaclears.
