That is a bit too much. You want 15 times turnover rate. That is 150 gph. Some corals require more. I wouldn't go over 300 GPH though, that is a typhoon in a 10 gallon. What do you have in there now with that flow?

650gph is a little much for your tank, total turnover rates depend on the type of powerhead you are using if you are using a propellar style powerhead like the korialas you can run much higher flowrates without irritating your corals and fish. I currently am running about 1800gph in my 55g tank which is about a 30x turnover rate.
