ok im setting up a 10 gallon nano and i have a 28 watt power compact and i was wondering what kind of corals i could put in the tank and also wat kind of filteration would i need?
thanks aaron
I heard protein skimmers are way too bulky for a 10 gallon and really not needed. Aslong as you keep up with water changes and use a good test kit to make sure all the conditions are correct...Also let me know how that 28W lights up the tank...I just bought a 96w quad and it really lights my whole bedroom!...also thought of buyen two 9inch 18w fixtures for a total of 36w...anyone done this? for a 10g that is
well right now i have a mullinium filter and a pretty good size rock full of star polyps and they are doin great and yea it is pretty bright.
Thanks for the info
On my 10 I have a hang on fuge with a Seaclone 100 as a skimmer. Personally I like using a skimmer even on a 10. The lighting started as 2X28 PC & worked well for softies. I then went with 3X28 & all was good. Now I have a 70W HQI + 1X28PC and am in the process of going to a 150 HQI only. I have heard nothing but great things using the 96W Quad on a 10.
yeah what supplements could i use to jumpstart my coraline?? There was some light green but it has since bleached while i used two 10w 50/50's...but there is one piece of rock with alot of patches of...burgundy... There was so dang many supplements that my head is spinning.
