What is the best lighting enclosure to have for a 32w retrofit? Can you build them out of wood? If so, can you set it on the glass and have a small fan in the hood? What kind of fan is the best and quietest to use?

I have my 32W retrofit mounted in the hood that came with my 7gal bowfront, it does not get very warm to the touch. You could make a hood out of wood if you like. If you want air exchange you can cut a few slits in the wood to let warm air rise from it. I do not use a fan on it. I have heard of others that use a fan out of a computer though.
