Im still setting up my 125g. I want to run a seperate outlet for my tank alone. I still have a roll of 12awg 3 wire left over. I want to run a line from an outlet straight to the breaker box. Question is what size breaker do you recommend for that size wire. I hear 20 amps is the max to avoid any fire hazard. If 20amps is the max then I would go with a 15amp then to be on the safe side? Who ever built my house must of been drunk or high cause my wiring is all screwed up. I have breakers that control 1 outlet in each of my rooms...WTF. This is why I want to do it to avoid to problems when I am all set up.
