12 gallon JBJ nano cube
2x27 watt (4.5 watts per gallon)
Has anyone made any modifications to yours?
I've heard of tossing the Bio-balls for LR rubble and the sponges for chaeto.. is this correct?
I should be ordering mine sometime in the near future. I have found an amazing nano-reef guide that I got some great information from..
Just wanting to know what mods y'all have done, if any?

First WELCOME, second there are TONS of modifications availble for these tanks.. Wayyyy to many to list, the popular ones are exchanging the bio balls for LR rubble upgrading the stock pump for more flow, increasing the opening to the middle chamber and getting rid of the supplied filter media and using filter floss on top of the LR with carbon bags below it. Do a search here for mods to the nanos you will see tons, good luck..
