12 Gallon with/without fan Pros and Cons? Help quick please

What are the pros and cons of having a 12 gallon nano without fans?
if I took the stock pump out and added a Maxi-Jet 900, would the heat issue even be a huge factor?
I have the option of getting a 12 gallon nano cube for 70 bucks without a fan..
Help quick is appreciated, as I am trying to order today.

It is the lights that provide most of the nuisance heat. With an enclosed hood and no fan I think it would be very difficult to keep your temperature in check.
