i might be getting a new tank for christmas and i want a 120g.
it will be 48"x24"x24", it will have 2 overflows.
i will be keeping mostly LPS and SPS corals.
does anyone have a wave 2k on there tank?
how do you like it?
would you recomend using one center unit or a corner unit?
and should i get two or just one?
or should i go with powerheads and a wavemaker?
thanks.

i have a 120 and was looking at a wave 2k. they look real nice and displace 8 gallons at a time. I cant give you personal experience but I dont think it is a bad idea. I have about 35x turnover with my tunze 6060 a seio 1500 and my overflow box - 1200 gph. it works for me but the wave thingie might be REAL cool.

I added this thingy to my return and my corals love it.if you deside to get one of these make sure its the type with the foam ring on it.the ones made without it cant be taken apart to be cleaned.it works on water preasure alone the more flow the faster it turns creating a circular wave patern through out the tank will be ugrading to a 300 soon and ill be getting about 6 more of these things to add to the new tank as you can see my anenome crawled right up to it I have this one and a sieo 1500 in my 120

i heard that you can put those black things on anything, is that true because i have 4 power heads with less then a 1/2" spout, will it work with these? not sure how these things can "fit on
anything",

you can buy or make an adaptor for it I had to use clear tubing to make it fit 1in pvc
