Cleaner Shrimp died right after i put it into the tank..
I called the ***** where I bought that shrimp. Manager said there's no way to replace it..
I was so upset about it and sent them a mail..
I sent a mail to ***** customer service department for replacing Cleaner Shrimp..
They send me a letter that I can get that Cleaner Shrimp..
I point out that lack of knowledge on saltwater fish..(They should give customer some instruction how to prevent PH shock..)
It was worth trying it.

***** has been a long time nemisis of us here at SWF. I've seen some really nice stores (SoCal) and some really crappy ones (up here in Wa.). I drive an hour to get my fish just so I don't have to buy from them. However, my tank came from *****. I recently rescued a horseshoe crab from them that they had already written off as dead. I'm happy to say that he's going great now. Decide for yourself, though. Good job on the e-mail.

I avoid buying anything from the ***** in my town. It seems like the employees 1) don't know much about saltwater fish and 2)their specimens aren't that healthy anyways. At the store near my house, they had four entire tanks wiped out. They're all overun with algae and it seems that 50 percent of their fish have ick or some other type of disease. It's just not worth the risk, even though their prices are a tad bit lower. It angers me to know that so many fish died at because of the irresponsibility and carelessness of unknowledgable dealers.

I get sad when I see the condition of some of the livestock at *****. It's really a shame.

Yes, the 3 local ***** stores near me are pretty bad. The closest one to my house has tragedies everyday. ***** has a great bargain for the fish you get, but it's kind of sketchy when you actually get them home. I usually go there to get a good deal on an expensive HEALTHY fish. If it's not healthy I just pass and would rather pay much more for one that is not dieseased and is about to croak.
I did; however, purchase two small tank raised Clowns from them recently. One was very tiny which I thought was cute. The other was odd because one side had stripes and the other side had the stripes running only 1/4 around the body. I also got a Firefish, Spotted Damsel, and a Dragonet from there. They are still alive after about 2 months. Good luck! :D

Look at any livestock before you buy. I have one near me that is in pretty good condition. Just treat anything you get.
