Hi, its been a while since i posted or even read the board. I have been really busy with work, but i still got my 55gal with a 3 inch dogface puffer a 4 inch panther grouper and an aprox 14 inch SFE. I just bought my friends 125gal which come with the stand and the glass canopy with lights, a wet//dry, heater, and other small things. I paid $200 for it. Thats pretty good right? Now i just gotta get some sand, salt and more LR. Oh yeah and anyone have any ideas on a skimmer for the tank? And how many gph pump should i be using on the wet/dry? I will be putting the 3 fish from the 55gal into it. Any ideas for other tankmates? Thanks.

first off. that price is amazing. Most people pa y250$ for a 125 tank and stand. i think some sort of wrasse would be nice in theri. Dragon wrasses and Leopard wrasses are nice.

i just set up my new tank and am running a mag 9.5 and a urchin pro in sump skimmer i would run the bigger mag and the same skimmer which works great and is around 200 bucks and the mag pump is tough and powerful and really surprisingly quiet i haven't gotten my cd pics back fromthe store i am hoping this week and will defintly have them on here so everyone can see oh yeah you would want about 10x turnover i think the mag pump for that would be mag 12 106 bucks or some serious movement mag 18 119 bucks

ok thanks,,i just picked up a blue throat trigger today. he is really nice looking and very active. The fish store i go to makes there own tanks and filters and skimmers and they tried to sell me this skimmer for $250 which has 3 different valves)1 for air, 1 for water and one for the foam.) And they said it uses the venturi and a lime stone. It also comes with a mag9. He said it was good for tanks up to 300 gallons. Are there any skimmers on the market that is cheaper than $250 that can do the same as this? Can i get a good skimmer for my 125gal for around $150?

rinse it out with warm water and use a brand new sponge on anything with algae on it, just rinse bioballs and there good does it have any sand or anything in it?

actually when i went to go pick it up it had cracked all along the bottom because it was out in the cold weather for a few months, so i got the wet dry and stand and top for free so i gotta go get a new 125 gal tank for $230. Is that what they are suppose to cost?
