12g aquapod MH Conv???

Thinking about converting my 12g aquapod over to MH lighting but can not seem to find any conversion that fit the stock lid. I would perfer to keep the lid as i have a young child who likes to try to catch the fish with his hands

. I think there n=might be some heat issues and am more than willing to use a Sunpod or something similar but am unable to find one small enough to fit. And what would be a good wattage for 12g......i dont plan on keepng SPS just want to give my LPS and softies better lighting. Any input would be fantastic

the sunpods are what people usually use. just get the 17" one and it will be hanging a little on the side. The legs go in pretty much all the way, so it would fit perfectly fine.
also, look at nanocustoms dot com. They have some good mods for the nanocube, including how to retro in a MH (but i think they might only have a 70 watt, not sure if a 150 would fit too well).
But you are right. You're likely to have heat issues. I think a sunpod would be a better bet.
just dont buy any poisonous fish.
