I just got my new 12gal aquapod and had a question,
Do I need to add a heater?? I dont think it came with one, unless I cant see it.
Can I just put one in the back where the filters are?

yes, and yes.. they do not come with heaters unfortunately.

I put my heater in the chamber with the pump (farthest to the right).

buy another heater and have them both running. This is used for back up, in case one fails your fish wont die.

I highly agree with DETANE, get 2...I had my heater go out last month and had to set warm containers of water in my tank to keep it above 70...needless to say, i now have 2 heaters.
