I pulled this guy out of my DT and i've been keeping him alive in a fishbowl with my weekly h2o change water going in as its new water every week. Anyway i feel bad for it, not being able to survive and thrive in a real system. I have fed it pieces of homemade meaty food overnight and it is gone by morning. This worm is in VERY nice condition, and is hardy enough for a mail trip. So if you have the means to keep it please offer a trade, im not looking for anything to exceed $20 (item +shipped cost to you) .. so offer some snails, or cheap coral or something if your interested. thanks for your time.

hey, yeah the worm is pretty awesome and is not something you see very often, especially at this size. All my visitors getted freaked out when they see it, and my wife wont go into the fish/utility room anymore

anyway, i live in northern CA. Im not too worried to ship the worm anywhere, and would probably use an ice pack wrapped in newsprint or something due to the increasing heat. It did hitchhike in the LR which took 3 days to get to me in styrofoam and wet newspaper last August in the heat with no cooling packs. The worm is very hardy.
I recently read in another post that someone would make sandwich bag of a "deep purple coraline slushie" for a trade or sale... i would go for something like that.

dude no one will want it. I've heard large one like that eating corals. I could imagine it being a pest to fish or inverts. Just through it in the trash. I'm sure I'll get bashed for saying that.

not even close to a pest unless theyre eunicids. i have lots of them ranging from 2"-8"+. they only come out when i feed the tank or when something like a snail dies. pretty helpful in cleaning up. not sure about the fire worms

actually at that size they become pests, i've pulled 3 that were 1.5 feet long or over from my tank in the past year or so (including a 19 inch in a ten gallon that i personally saw eat a snall that was going across a rock)

yeah.... I have one in my tank that used to be that size...good clean up crew blah blah blah...now I can't get him out and last time I seen him he was 2 feet + in length and living in the wall of the overflow. Some of my corals get "damaged" from time to time and I always wonder if he's using them as a snack bar.

Like I said throw that thing in the trash. I remember some guy that has a huge tank on here get one that was like 2 feet long or something like that. He found it cause his corals started to disappear and low and behold it was a huge bristle worm.
