I have had a 14G Nano Cube for two years now. I have of course had the problem of Green algae and Hair algae, which I have seem to have gotten under control. Knock on wood. I have just had to replace my last fish, a clown, that I had for two years. In the Cuber I have the following Coral:
Hamerhead (2 because a pod broke of the main stem.)
Leather Mushroom
Star Crusted Polyp
Mushroom Polyps
New Fishes
Clown Fish
Canary Blenny
Water:
Salt Water made with R/O water purchased at local retailer
Partial change once a month
Cube lights on daily - white for 5 hours and blue for 8
My problem is that my clean up crew, (craps, Astrea Snail and Nassarius Snails) tend to live only for a few months. I only put 3 or 4 of each in at a time. What is causing my to lose my clean up crew so quickly and often? When I have my water checked all level are ok.
