I am buying a 14G BioCube for 50 bucks and thinking about changing out the lighting since it will need new bulbs.
I have done some readying on DYI Led lighting does anyone know where to get the parts for a good price.
From what I can tell it may be just a little more to buy the kit from Rapidled.com. If anyone has links to where you can buy
the parts for a good price I would be appricative.
Looking do do a 12-24 Led light on a 14g nano

The kit for the tank that Rapid LED sells is really the best way to go. My husband actually just ordered one tonight.

Like yourself, I have a bio cube and also replaced the power compact lighting and hood for an LED light pendant. Their are currently three very nice light fixtures on the market ranging in price from $229 to $750. The one I have is a 120 watt blue and white LED bulb fixture and was the $229 one made by Exotic Sun. It is a basic fixture with two fans two switches for the white and blue bulbs, but doesn't come with a timer or dimmer or multiple LED bulb colors.
The next step up is a LED fixture by Acan that features an integrated controller With separate intensity control to deliver flexibility and power. This unit retails for about $500. The third, newest and most technically advanced, however comes with a price tag to match is by a company called Eco Tech and their LED fixture is called Radion. This unit is configurable by hooking it up via a USB port to your computer to offer changing intensity replicating the suns rays and also features multiple LED bulbs such as green, Hyper red, royal blue, white and blue.
Of course their are the retrofit LED kits and availability to purchase these on E Bay or second hand for less money, however the options are open for you if this is something you may want to look into.
Good luck!
