15 Gal Tall (fish and inverts only) Tank

Hi. I'm working on setting up a 15 gallon tall tank at work for fish and inverts only. I've got a Marineland Millennium 3000 Wet/Dry HO Power Filter and two smaller (I can't remember the exact size at the moment) powerheads. I'm planning on putting about 2" of sand and probably about 10 or 15 pounds of live rock. I have a couple of questions though. I've read good things about this filter, but does anyone have any experience with them? Also, with this being a tall tank, should I put two powerheads at the top and two at the bottom or will the two I have be enough? I was thinking of going with some easy to care for fish such as some chromis and clowns. I'd really like to have several shrimp, crabs, and such. I'd just like some opinions on my plans or if I should do anything different. I don't plan to ever put any corals in
this tank.
Thanks!
Angela
