Im tryin to decide what are my "safe" options for tank mates. Ive got a one 3inch clown trigger and want maybe one or 2 more tank mates. I was wanting maybe one more trigger and a large tang. Help me out with some suggestions.

Whatever you add, you need to add them soon before the CT gets established. After that he won't be as welcoming to new tank mates. I think an eel is the perfect tank mate for an agressive trigger. I have a sargassum and niger triggers with my CT and they get along great. I've also got a sohal tang with mine but that's probably not something I'd recommend since they're both alpha fish. Some people will tell you there is no safe fish with a CT and who knows, they might be right.

Yes i was expecting the "no fish" recomendation. Hes actually not in the 165 yet. Im doing a tank swap this weekend, so he wont be in the tank no more than a couple weeks before i add something else.

my clown trigger is with a pink tail and a blue throat trigger. the clown was added last. otherwise i think an eel would be a good choice as well

i wouldnt mind an eel, but im kinda of wanting something a little more active. Ive got an opportunity to pick up a blue line grouper. thinking about gettin him
