We just upgraded our tank to a 175 gallon bowfront after our old 120 gallon tank sprung a leak. We already have a yellow tang who is doing wonderfully, but we have been considering adding other tangs to the tank... such as a purple tang and/or a sailfin tang.
My question is, would a 175 gallon provide enough swimming room for 3 or more tangs?
Tank specifications can be found here .
We aren't planning on adding them anytime soon... the tank is still recovering from the shift from one tank to another and before we add any fish, we'll be adding some more sand (enough to make a 3-4 inch sandbed) as well as adding some more liverock (50 lbs or so).
