175w mh 20g reef

is 175w to much for a 20g reef? ill probly keep it like 15-20" away from the tank, give me some advice on mh lighting

That would be fine, you can easily do 10-12 inch away without any major heat problems.

but what about like 15 so there is NONE. so i would be able to keep pretty much everything if i knew there level of requirements? how many inches do u think it should be from the tank so there is no heat issues
