180 gallon gank setup question

Alright guys, I just bought a 180 gallon tank. I currently have a 55 gallon fish tank that has the over hang filters. The 180 gallon tank is not drilled, and I am just going to run a FOWLR setup. Do I need to drill this tank? Should I use a wet/dry setup. Your thoughts? I'm not sure what to use.

You don't need to, but I think you'd be happier if it was. You can also buy externally-mounted overflow boxes, I know CPR makes a good one. You're going to want to drain about 1200GPH.
