I know that tanks get these and I have been waiting to see one. But man I never thought it would be this big and I havent notced it till now. The picture is litterally only showing about 1/8 of its total body length and it has to be 3/16" wide. Leave him alone?
Yea I was bored last night so my camera comes out.

He's just a bristleworm right? Most species are scavengers and will clean up any detritus you might have while not harming anything living. There are some species that are carnivorous and may predate on pods, but unless you are experiencing a problem I wouldn't consider that little guy a threat.
I've got tons of them in my tank and they are some of my favorite inhabitants. They all poke their little pink heads out when the tank gets fed and if a piece hits the sand they all fight over it and you see the big ones dragging the little guys around.

:scared: they totally skeeve me out....but i know they are good for the tank, I have a monster one.....they remind me of the sand worms from beetlejuice

Keeping it old school. 2 things in your post I haven't heard in a while "skeeve" and "beetlejuice."

What about the worms from tremors?

Ok cool, I figured he is ok but to not see any and then see one this size really took me by suprise. I will see if i can get a pic of him all the way out. Maybe hes not as big as I think he is, that would mean hes gonna get bigger. YEAAAAA.

LOL just one of my all time fav movies. And yes they kinda do, except for that whole other worm in its mouth that the one on the movie has. :joy:
