Hello all,
I am new to SW and decided to try DIY. Here are the pics of the progression of my stand. Let me know what you think.

I decided to build the stand out of 1 1/2" steel tubing. I believe in overkill and precision so I used a mill to make all of my cuts.

I did all of the design and planning, but I had some help from friends on the construction. Special thanks to Walt for the precision metalworking!

Thats sick. I mean I wish i had the knowledge/tools to craft metal. Keep the pics. coming. Should not have to worry about rust I guess if it is skinned correctly.

I used the heavy duty materials so I could have the front of the stand without any legs in the middle.

I used high intensity magnets to fasten all of the sides onto the stand, so I could have complete access whenever and wherever.

I work at a sound control business and I figured I might as well insulate the stand and make it silent.

And this is my final product. Short the fish. Still cycling

Thats really cool. Is that a bubbler on the left inside the tank? So, if you needed to get down below, just pull off a panel? Great ideas.

Yes, the bubbler is there to conceal the overflow box. The detachable sides have been great! I will post some more pics tomorrow of the complete setup taken down. It's so easy, I Love magnets. make sure you get the "High Intensity Earth Magnets" if you are going to do it. Other magnets will fail. These are used to fasten parts onto tractors!

I cannot forget to thank my Boss for looking the other way while I used his facility to work on this project. On my breaks of course.
