2.5 gallon copepod tank

as some of u know i want a mandarin i was wondering if i could breed copepods in a 2.5 in the closet. i was thinkin like an airstone lr ruble idk any suggestions??

Very easy to do. People do it in old glass jars (like pickle or mayo jars) and it works out just fine.

You'll have to watch out for water quality. They still need to eat and they still excrete waste. We add Nanno to the pod tanks to utilize ammonia. We use a second phyto to feed them with because copepods cannot eat Nanno easily.

I was going to post how to raise copepods and I saw this thread already going. What all do I need to raise pods. I have 1.5 gallon tank not being used but was considering buying a 10g. So I need to know all the basic stuff. What temp should I keep it at, do I need a power head, use 1.025 salinity, will I need a light, ... etc.
