I have a 2.5 gallon nano tank in the making. I am adding the live rock today or tommorow. I will let it cycle. It will be hosing 2-3 sexy shrimp and zoos and more zoos and then i will add some more zoos....I have a ghetto canopy with 2 bayco lights from walmart in it. I replaced one of the lights with a actinic bulb in it....

i bought my girlfriend a 2.5 gallon minibow from all-glass. probably the same one you got i dunno.. it was for her beta fish that i couldnt stand to see in the 1/4 gallon tank that cost more than the 2.5..im letting her get some experince with a aquarium. we have already talked about making it a really small sw tank.. maybe if yours turns out nice and dont cost alot ill help her convert it to saltwater.

Only the via aqua tanks, and from what I have seen you have to buy everything that comes with them. They do come with a decent lighting setup, but not for anything but softies.
