I was thinking of it more after you had asked about emperor's and skimmers. If you have a bow front reef ready I would definatly go sump. Just would make it look nicer not having stuff hang off the back of your tank! I dont have a reef ready thats why I have emperor's. But Ill be doing a sump after christmas. 1 should be fine with a skimmer.
