2 firefish in a 10 gal?

can i keep 2 firefish in a 10 gal tank.
is it too small?
its supposed to be my QT but the 2 are hiding in the display tank and i dont want to get rid of them
should i keep the QT open, because im not getting any more fish?

You could put 1 in there or a mated pair. They are a real peaceful fish, besides to their own species.
