Does anyone have any idea of how could I remove this pesty hair algae in a two gallon nano/reef tank? I have two dwarf reef gobies (really baby...TINY) two blue leg hermits and two margarita snails. about a pound of live rock (covered in this stuff) and I have a green dotted mushroom. green star polyps, purple tonga mushroom.
I think I have too much lighting and maybe thats the problem? I have a 13watt and an 18 watt power compact both are 50/50 bulb.
Please, any suggestions will be appreciated.
I don't know what to do because it's not like I can add a tang or anything like that.
W#ater parameters are ok. Tank it's been set up for about two months. However, I took sand from my 75 established reeftank and the water as well. The live rock was cured. (came from another established tank that I have)
I set this up because I had these gobies that If I put them in my big tanks, they would be dinner! (they are babies that I bought from a friend)
Thanks for your help!
PS the cardinal was moved when I got the two gobies. And the tank here is clean but it is not clean anymore since the algae has taken over!!!
