i have 2 koralia 4's and it seems like a lot of flow. i have a 125 6ft long i have one on each side. what i was wanting to do is put a timer on each one and rotate them on and off every half hour.and plus it would mix things up a lil different like waves. some parts of the day i'll run them both and most the time i'll switch them on and off. my ? is would that be bad for them turning them on and off that much? i was thinking thats the same concept of a wave maker. has anyone ever tried this? or any comments would help!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE

If they are the new evolution model you can hook it up to a regular wave maker. If they are the older model you have to get koralia's wave maker.

Oh and what makes you think that's too much flow? It seems appropriate to me. What kind of corals are you wanting to keep or already have?
But the wavemaker is a great idea because irregular flow is better than constant.

Im running two #4's in my 90 gallon 4' tank and I feel its almost perfect. I'd kind of like to put in a #2 in my big cave as well actually.
I'm sure 2 4's in a 6' tank isnt too much. to each his own i guess.

Timers are not really made for constant off/on cycle, it could pop your fuses. There are some inexpensive wavemakers that do the job.
