Clown, please do not be offended when I say this. But, I truly think that you need to take out a ton of those fish. You REALLY need to slow down and actually do some research. You have everything A-Z in your 55gallon, or whatever size tank you have...I'm pretty sure its a 55. You are WWAAYYYY overstocked. You need to do a water change and clean up your tank BIG TIME. All the pictures I ever see of your tank are either brown or green...not good. You know what that tells me? That you have an unhealthy tank. Can you give me a fish list so I can try to help you narrow it down? Let me know what I can help you with...not trying to be a jerk, just trying to let you know. Thanks!

Cleaning the tank has nothing to do with ICH coming back. Not QT'ing the new ones will bring ICH in. I would have to aggree with above post; the tang, batfish and trigger definately pushes you over on the OVERSTOCKED bigtime list. Just my $.04

What about all the others you had? Like the boxfish, etc? Did you get rid of them or just not put them in the list? But I'd definetly get rid of the trigger and the batfish and the tang.

Oh, okay...I see. Just curious...how often do you do water changes? Do you use RO water? Your tank is.....very dirty to say the least. Why?? Laziness? Or is there something that needs to be corrected? If so, please let me know!! Again, if there is anything I can help you with, please let me know!!

I would keep it clean and do water changes. The cleaning not only make things look better but also helps keep the bad algae down. Also, you are dealing with ich so the fishes need pristine water IMO for their immune system. I hate cleaning too and I don't do it as often as I should in my freshwater tank but I have way too much $ invested in my salt so I try my best to keep it clean and everything in check. I know I still have ich but so far my two fish have beat it and I hope that if I minimize the stress that they can continue to stay clear. My plan is if they end up dieing, that I will go fishless and use my QT tank in the future.

I certainly would. Heck, I do weekly water changes on my 55 and I dont have to! I have a very light bio load. Keeps my phosphates high (use tap water) which gives me hair algae, but thats what my lawnmower blenny is for!! Your tank appears to have some pretty serious issues....I'd get those cleaned up, and get rid of the three fish I told you to get rid of...including the tang. You never know, things might fall through on the 125.

to clean off my rocks and coral skeletons i use a toothbrush. Cheap ones or the ones the dentist give u after a vist, they work like a charm for all algea and if yyou do have ich a qt tank is a must. My parents got me a pj cardinal a few months ago and floated him for like an hour im my tank and when i found out i thanked my parents, fished him out, and dripped him for an hour so i could qt him. THATS HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO QT A FISH.
oh and for water changes if my salinity is a little to high i add the salt water then a jug of poland spring and it keeps my tank clean as a wistle.
good luck with your tank and please please get rid of the bat fish and trigger, they deserve better
